Korean Hostage Executed by Iraqi Militants
Seoul confirms Kim Seon Il's body was found near Baghdad

Al Jazeera TV reported that Iraqi militant group killed South Korean hostage, Kim Seon Il.

South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade confirmed death of the Korean military supplies employee saying that his body was found about 35km from Baghdad at 5:20 p.m., June 22 local time.

Korea Broadcasting System (KBS) reported that the president of Gana Trading, Kim's employer and the Korean ambassador to Iraq also confirmed his death after looking at emailed pictures of Kim's body.

Kim's family in Korea were devastated by the tragic news after two days of waiting for word on their son's fate.
