We've all been exposed to wall-to-wall news coverage of U.S. military action in Iraq, a war which began March 20, 2003. Over the past three years, tens of thousands of Iraqis have been killed, the U.S. has lost over 2,300 servicemen and women and the cost to the American taxpayer is estimated at $100,000 a minute.

OhmyNews International wants your reaction on how the war has changed the lives of Iraqis, the image of the U.S. in the world, and if your country is part of the coalition, how people in your country think about the unfolding, often tragic, events three years on.

We're sure that OhmyNews readers have a wide variety of views on the war -- and we'd like to publish your thoughts.

The following are questions we'd like you to address:
1. Is this an unmitigated disaster for Iraq and the U.S. or, in the long run, a starting point for the spread of Western democracy in the Middle East?

2. Is an Iraqi civil war now inevitable? Is this war winnable? If so, by whom?

3. How do you and people in your country view the Bush administration's handling of the war?

4. Should the U.S. pull its troops out of the region? If so, when?

5.To commemorate the third anniversary, what kind of activities are taking place in your country?
You can either write an article as a citizen reporter or leave a comment at the bottom of this page. OhmyNews will publish a special edition of the page on the March 20 anniversary using your input. We look forward to reading your stories.
Three years after the start of the War in Iraq, do you think the Iraqi people are better off?  (2006-03-19 ~ 2006-03-26)
