Kyung Hee University's second dormitory ran a fund raising fair on September 21, 2009 to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation.

Everyone looked excited and they had smiles on their faces. Volunteers were selling food, clothes, cosmetics, books, fruits and candies.

Most people seemed to gather around the food stalls causing the organizers to make a food-run to refill their supplies well before the end of the fair.

Danny Lee and his friend made traditional Korean candies. The 21 year old said that he enjoyed the process, but admitted that making candy was harder than he expected. He also said that the stand was not making a significant profit.
Despite these challenges, the Life Science student was determined to work for a few more hours, even though the day's heat disrupted his candy making.

However, Soo Jin, who lives in the second dormitory, was out for a walk when she ran into the carnival. After learning about the event, she said that it was a very good idea.

"There are many people who need help and I think it is very thoughtful of them to come up with such great ideas," Soo Jin said.

The design student even promised to open a food stall and make donations in the future.

At another booth, International Studies student, Eun Joen and her friends were selling clothes, cosmetics and books. She said that all of merchandise was donated.

"More than 60 people donated," she said.

They earned a lot and also mentioned that most of customers bought cosmetics rather than books or clothes.

The fair ended. Everyone went home with a satisfaction of being able to earn for the sick kids while some seemed tired from all the hard work.
