If I were to travel back in time
I will love to go back to those happy places

emotions never drown my ability to speak clearly
Maybe I would remember
So take my hands and join me in those happy places

You remember that happy place, don셳 you?
The field, the exotic plant- they are all there
Remember? Yes the sky, the wind, the sun and all of it
Then come out and play like you used to

Come with me lets climb trees, pick mangoes, ride bike
Blow plastic balloons, make paper boat and watch them float
Just like the good old days let셲 do it again
Catch grasshopper, fly kites and watch the birds from the nets

I hardly remember how you looked when you smiled
I would like to see your smile and hear your laughter again
Those were love filled moments right?
You simply shared the wonder and excitement of life together with loved ones

You remember how you talked to yourself in front of the mirror?
How about they helped you with your assignment while you grudgingly obeyed them
As you itched to play games with the neighbors
Do you remember those days? The stories by moon light
You remember! I am glad you did
You look forward to those moment- wide-eyed listening
Those were thrilling adventures with loved ones
They loved having us listen to valuable lesson hidden
Behind the stories, fables and folklores

We can do that again you know? Seek lesson behind stories
I know of one who can tell you endless stories
She is like a bullet train, speeding from one story to another
At time she can be a jet plane zooming from one to another
And returning to the previous story without missing a beat

You can still have fun you know?
Dance and twirl with the wind
Sing joyfully with the birds
Skip around; brush the flowers with your outstretched hand
And throw stone in the ditch

Come hold my hand and be free, dream and play once more
And uncover love in the most unlikely of places
In the most unlikely of beings and create a world filled with colorful shades
Its save t play again, there are no monsters after all╈..
I see them for what they are .. Scared little ones who need to remember they are loved

Remember the sun never blames the rain when the sky is gloomy
The soil never hates the sun when it셲 too hot for water to flow freely
The flower never accuse the bees of defiling their beauty
Nor complain about the spiders squatting amongst their leaves

So, it셲 okay to journey back in time
To see the birds in the air and the rainbow too!
Especially when little one in you has memories
Of being playful, naughty and having fun
